Arriva London's ladies Race for Life

Arriva London’s ladies will be in the pink again this year raising more money for charity and getting in a little gentle exercise at the same time.

About 30 women from Arriva raised more than £1,000 last year when they took part in Race for Life at Trent Park in north London.

This year they’re hoping to participate in two events, one at Trent Park on 20^th June and another at Lloyd Park, Croydon on 25^th July.

Business development manager Caroline Ward said: “I’m planning to do two 5k events, so there’s nothing too strenuous and people can walk, jog or run. It’s good fun as part of a group and an enjoyable social day out.”

Race for Life raises money for Cancer Research UK and similar five and 10-kilometre events go on throughout the summer.
