The young people will attend the Jamboree and then spend some time visiting Scouts in the Baltic countries and they are currently actively fundraising to cover the costs of the trip.
Greater London North 2011 Scouting Jamboree logo launchThe 22nd World Scout Jamboree will be held on the fields of Rinkaby, not far from the town of Kristianstad, in the province of Skåne, in the south of Sweden in the summer of 2011. The Jamboree takes place every four years, and demonstrates the very best the movement can offer: youth, community and the future. 40,000 young people and adults will spend almost three weeks together, giving them the chance to discover what it means to live in a global, interconnected world.
