Arriva London employee wins award for work to support local charity
Enfield vehicle examiner Neil Agambar receiving his community awardArriva London employee Neil Agambar has been rewarded for his efforts to make a difference in his local community.
Neil won an Arriva Community Action Award after being selected by Arriva for his work in supporting the Radiomarathon UK charity. He is one of more than 30 Arriva employees across the UK to receive an award.
Neil who is an engineer at Enfield garage dedicates on average 3 hours every month to the charity organisation. He has recently participated in a parachute jump and organised a curry night, bingo night and other events, raising over £1,000.
Arriva London managing director Bob Scowen presented Neil with his award which includes a donation of £250 to Radiomarathon UK.
The Arriva Community Action Awards scheme aims to help recognise the valuable contribution that employees make to their local communities through voluntary work.
The Awards are open to all Arriva employees in the UK, including those who work in their spare time for a charity or non profit making organisation for the benefit of the local community.
