London Skolars
Arriva London have supported local Rugby League team the London Skolars’ award winning schools development programme since 2003.
In November 2006, London Skolars Rugby League Club were voted “National League Community Club of the Year” award.
They now have one of the most extensive schools programmes with over 50 schools involved. At secondary level the programmes are covering four boroughs with Enfield, Barnet and Waltham Forest as well as Haringey.
The work in the schools has also included presenting school assemblies alongside the Quit Smoking campaign and emphasises the importance of sport in a healthy lifestyle.
