New Route for Arriva London

 New route 325It’s been busy, busy, busy at Barking garage as Arriva London prepares to take over the operation of route 325 on Saturday March 6.

As well as a new schedule, driver training and bus familiarisation Arriva have taken delivery of 13 brand new Enviro 200’s for the route.

Each one has to go through a full pre-service inspection and safety check and they all have to be fitted with ticket machines, radio equipment and new destination blinds.

The route which runs from East Beckton to Prince Regent DLR station, via East Ham, Forest Gate and Upton Park has a 12 minute service during its busiest times.

Performance manager Paul Grant said: “Everyone’s ready and looking forward to the new challenge, I’m sure we’ll have some hurdles to overcome especially when West Ham are playing at home, but we have the expertise to cope with anything.”
