Arriva London Christmas and New Year bus travel information

To help our passengers over the holiday period, the following is a guide to bus times from Saturday 24th December through to Monday 2nd January 2012.  The information can also be downloaded as an Adobe Acrobat PDF (20kB) for your convenience.

Arriva London does not operate all the routes mentioned, but felt it appropriate to give our customers as much information as possible.

Please treat this information as a guide only, as circumstances may require times to be changed at short notice. We would like to thank you for travelling with Arriva London, and wish you all the compliments of the season.

London bus times over the Holiday period 24th Dec – 2nd Jan 2012

Saturday 24 December – Christmas Eve

Saturday service, except there will be no night buses and on 24 hour routes, buses will operate until just after midnight.

Sunday 25 December – Christmas Day

There will be no daytime or night buses operated by London Buses. However, there will be a few services run by other operators.

Monday 26 December – Boxing Day

A Sunday service will operate on all routes from about 08.30, with the following exceptions: Routes 81, 90, 105, 111, 140, 203, 222, 285, 350, 423, 482, 490, A10, H25, H26, U3 and X26 will operate a Sunday service from about 05.30 in order to serve Heathrow Airport; route 84 will not operate.
A Monday night service will operate on all 24 hour and night services on the night of 26/27 December.

Tuesday 27 December – Bank Holiday

A normal Sunday service will operate on all daytime routes except for a Saturday service on routes 327, 346, 347, 352, 354, 359, 375, 377, 383, 385, 389, 398, 399, 404, 424, 434, 467, 470, 481, 485, 549, B12, H3, K4, K5, R2, R5, R7, R8, R10, S3, S4, U10 & W10 and a normal Monday service on route 965.
A Tuesday night service will operate on all 24 hour and night bus routes.

Wednesday 28 December

Saturday service with the following exceptions: 507 and 521 (reduced Monday to Friday service), 941 and 953 (normal Wednesday service) and X68 (normal Monday to Friday service)
A Wednesday night service will operate on all 24 hour and night bus routes.

Thursday 29 December

A Saturday service will operate on all daytime routes except on routes 507 and 521 (reduced Mon-Fri service) and X68 (normal Monday to Friday service)
A Thursday night service will operate on all 24 hour and night bus routes.

Friday 30 December

A Saturday service will operate on all daytime routes except on routes 507 and 521 (reduced Mon-Fri service), routes 931, 965 and 969 (normal Friday service) and X68 (normal Monday to Friday service)

A Friday night service will operate on all 24 hour and night bus routes.

Saturday 31 December – New Year’s Eve

A Saturday service will operate on all daytime routes except on route 388 (no service Liverpool Street – Embankment after 16.00), route 507 (no service after 19.00). From 17.00, all buses will progressively be withdrawn from Central London as roads are closed.
A Saturday night service will operate on 24 hour and night services subject to Central London road closures. All buses will return to their normal routings as roads are re-opened after 03.00.

Sunday 1 January – New Year’s Day

A normal Sunday service will operate on all daytime, 24 hour and night bus routes.

Monday 2 January – Bank Holiday

A Sunday service will operate on all daytime routes, 24 hour and night bus routes.
