Met recognises Arriva London’s contribution with CCTV awards
In-bus CCTV monitor screenCCTV (closed circuit television) is part and parcel of every bus journey in London. The systems are designed to make travelling in London a safer experience, and Arriva London receive requests from police officers for CCTV footage to assist them in investigating incidents that have occurred on a bus.
On-board CCTV cameraThe MPS/TfL Bus CCTV Awards held on Friday 8th June at New Scotland Yard, recognised excellence in the use and management of on bus CCTV. Arriva London are proud to have been successful in winning 3 of the 7 awards, which were presented by Commander Simon Foy QPM and Commander Adrian Hanstock, in the presence of Mr Leon Daniels Managing Director Surface Transport, TfL.
