EE Mobile Services use Arriva London New Routemaster in latest ad
Being up to the minute with design and functionality is one of the most important features for any mobile phone network, and similar requirements are needed to supply the most up to date transport vehicles in London for the public to enjoy their journeys.
So it’s probably not surprising that when EE Mobile Services, the phone, broadband and TV provider, wanted to produce one of their latest commercials, they included a New Routemaster to display their bus side advertising and added the whole vehicle as a prop for the shoot.
Over the recent May bank holiday weekend, Arriva London’s pristine looking LT327 from Brixton garage was brought into service for filming at Waterloo Southbank and in Croydon, with movie star Kevin Bacon.
The client decided on the destination blinds and the route number 433, which is no longer an actual London route.
Phil Clark, the Arriva manager for Rail Replacement and Special Projects, said:
“We are always delighted to be of service to film and TV production companies for projects like this, and glad that one of the New Routemasters should feature in such a prestigious ad campaign”.

We also look at other ways in which we can develop our relationships with the communities we serve, and allow them the opportunity of learning about our processes and to meet some of the team.
Over the past few months we have been working with TfL, conducting Accessibility Awareness forums at our garages.
