Arriva London’s Women Engineers go for Guinness World Record
Next Tuesday the 23rd of June is ‘National Women in Engineering Day 2015’, and to help celebrate this, Arriva London will be sending two of their Engineers along to see if they can help create a Guinness World record on Horse Guards parade between 8.00 and 9.30.
The planned attempt at the Guinness world record is for ‘the most people performing a jumping high-five simultaneously’ and Arriva London’s Engineers Caroline Wilde and Brogan O’Brien will be joining in the fun, which is designed to 'high-five' the amazing achievements of women in engineering and technology, and showcase the exciting and hugely diverse roles they undertake.
Both Caroline and Brogan joined the Arriva London Engineering team from engineering roles in the British army. They currently hold engineering management roles within Arriva, Caroline is the Engineering manager of Arriva’s Clapton garage and Brogan the Assistant engineering Manager at Edmonton.
Both ladies are looking forward to being part of the event and hopefully becoming part of a new Guinness World record and another winning team.
