This year’s competition, held over 5 days from 1st to 5th June 2015 at the S&B Automotive Academy in Bristol saw bus and coach operators from all over the UK put forward teams to compete in a series of engineering challenges covering three disciplines of mechanical, electrical and bodywork to see who has the best technicians in the industry.

Arriva UK Bus, who competed on 2nd June, was strongly represented by engineers from Arriva London, Christos Efstathiou (Clapton garage) along with apprentices Tom King (Norwood), George Perry (Barking) and Adam Vale (Tottenham).

Norwood’s Tom King was amongst the Arriva successes, not only was he the winner of the Top Scoring Electrical Apprentice award, but he was also teamed up with Arriva Midlands colleague Pamela Chapman to win the Electrical & Mechanical Award.
