An Arriva garageAn Arriva garageRoute 38Route 38Its positive news for Clapton as the engineering function has re-opened at the garage for the first time in nearly four years.

The changes have come about following Route 38’s conversion from artic to double-deck buses on Saturday 14 November.

Around 50 bendy buses have now been decommissioned and have been replaced by a mixture of 79 Tridents and DWs.

Additional drivers have been taken on at Clapton to cover the extra duties created by the conversion of Route 38, which runs from Clapton Pond to Victoria. They are also working on the route N38, 393 242 and N242, which has transferred from Stamford Hill.
