Arriva Heritage Fleet Buses go Red for the British Heart Foundation
The British Heart Foundation's National Heart MonthThree Arriva Heritage Fleet red Routemaster buses (RM 2217, RM 5 and RM 1124) will go to The British Heart Foundation's headquarters in North London, on Monday 1st Feb, to help in the launch of the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) National Heart Month.
National Heart Month is the BHF’s annual campaign to increase awareness of heart and circulatory disease and to raise funds for its research, prevention and care services
Famous buildings and landmarks across the UK will be lit red to support the campaign. 6.00pm on Monday is the big switch on leading with activity along the Southbank, and across the UK.
The Red Routemasters will take VIPs and staff to the South Bank for the big switch on, which includes County Hall and the Shell building being lit red and the London Eye switching on a newly created ‘Heart Beat’ lighting effect for the occasion.
