Champagne Gourmet Odyssey with an Arriva London Heritage Fleet Routemaster
Arriva London are proud, once again, to be the providers of the mode of transport to deliver London’s most original gastronomic road trip - the London restaurant festival’s Champagne Gourmet Odyssey.
The Odyssey comprises of your first course in one top London restaurant, your main in another and dessert in a third – with Champagne with each course - travelling between restaurants on one of our iconic Heritage Fleet Routemaster buses. Visits to Trullo, Noble Rot and Aquavit are just some of this year’s highlights.
Now in its ninth year, with Arriva London’s Heritage Fleet buses part of the festival since its inception, the London Restaurant Festival, with over 350 restaurants taking part, runs right through October with this last coming weekend being the final opportunity to celebrate with Gourmet Odyssey this year.
The four buses involved - RML 901, RM 6, RM 2217 and RM 1124 - are all historic vehicles in their own right, and give participants in the Odyssey the opportunity of experiencing a moving history of London’s transport, whilst at the same time delivering them some of the most exciting culinary delights at some of the most modern gourmet restaurants.
It’s not too late to have a Gourmet Odyssey this year; if you hurry, you can still get on board.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Michelle Salter and Donna Prendergast from the Sickle Cell Society to our Brixton garage, to meet with some of the givers and also record a few words about what the Payroll Givers' generosity means to their charity.
We have the ambition to become the mobility partner of choice, preferred by our passengers, partners and clients. Having a diverse, talented and motivated workforce is key to achieving that ambition.
We are always looking at ways to improve our green credentials and a recent initiative, part of our Destination Green programme across the business, at our North London Palmers Green garage is another illustration of this process.
Last summer, we were delighted to be awarded the contract from TfL to operate route W4 running from Oakthorpe Park Estate to Tottenham Ferry Lane estate, operating from Wood Green garage.
As part of our commitment to developing our business, we invest heavily in training for all of our staff to offer the great customer experience. We also look at other ways in which we can develop our relationships with the communities we serve, and allow them the opportunity of learning about our processes and to meet some of the team.
Over the past few months we have been working with TfL, conducting Accessibility Awareness forums at our garages.
