"The Night Bus" community on Arriva London buses
Arriva London has always been proud of its relationship with its local communities, and was pleased when a television production company got in touch with a view to depicting that very same community on our TV screens.
A three part Channel Four documentary series “The Night Bus” has its first episode airing tonight (www.channel4.com/programmes/the-night-bus) and shows just how much London buses depict London life, meeting loved ones, starting relationships and keeping in touch across the capital.
Employing the fixed-rig technology behind hits The Fried Chicken Shop and Educating, the series captures the wide variety of passengers travelling on some of the capital's night buses. From late night revellers and tourists visiting the West End to shift-workers leaving home at first light, the series provides an intimate portrait of London at night and the round-the-clock efforts made by drivers and support staff to keep the night bus working for London.
On Arriva London’s route N29, Episode 1 reveals how the night bus can become the busiest pick-up joint on four wheels, where love can strike when you least expect it. Don’t miss it, Channel 4 @ 10pm.
