Three great wins for us at the prestigious UK Bus Awards
Arriva London collected three prestigious awards at the UK Bus Awards held at the historic Troxy cinema venue in Limehouse, East London.

The first was the top prize Gold Award in the TfL London Bus Garage of the Year category, which was won by Brixton garage in South London.
The award required entrants to reach high levels of recorded performance in a range of disciplines, including service reliability, engineering standards, driver quality monitoring, wheelchair ramp operation, customer satisfaction and mystery traveller surveys.

The second of our Gold Awards went to Tottenham garage’s engineering manager Chris Leonti, in the Unsung Heroes category.
It recognised that, for over 40 years, Chris has tirelessly maintained and managed London's buses to ensure its travelling public receives the best customer experience, and that he is renowned for his positive attitude amongst his colleagues across Arriva London. His self-motivation and will to succeed has made him the 'go-to' man for advice on all bus engineering matters and underlines his truly Unsung Hero status.

Our third winner was our Enfield driver Helen Webster, who captured the Silver Award in the Top London Bus Driver category.
The London Bus Driver awards are given to those individuals who best fit the customers' ideal: a driver who is friendly, helpful, conscientious, mindful of passengers’ comfort and wellbeing – in short, a true professional and worthy ambassador for the job.
Bob Scowen, Arriva London Managing Director, said:

"The award winners are recognition for all of our staff and the quality of service provided every day across our London business. We should all be proud of the awards and see them as an inspiration for the challenges we face going forward."
