RM 5 declared "Best London Bus"

Matt Stanley receiving the "Best London Bus" award for RM 5Recently refurbished and restored to its former glory, Arriva London’s RM5 picked up the ‘Best London Bus’ award at the EFE Showbus held at Duxford aerodrome on Sunday (September 27).

The main attraction of Arriva London’s entries was made ready for the event by its dedicated team from Norwood garage engineering department. The bus took pride of place on a specially presented Arriva Heritage Fleet exhibition, which included RML2360 and an Arriva merchandise stall, which was adjacent to the EFE Models marquee.

Matt Stanley, who collected the award on behalf of Arriva said: “We’re really pleased to get a first prize at such an important event, it makes all the preparation worthwhile.”

Also representing the Arriva London Heritage Fleet at the show were RM2217 and RMC1453.
