HR & Training
HR
The HR department is responsible for advising on employment legislation. Also the drafting, consulting and producing of company policies and procedures. The main day to day activities of the department are concerned with the recruitment and appointment of staff at all levels and the provision of a comprehensive personnel backup for the business on all staff related matters, including inter-garage and inter-company transfers, travel passes, references, computerised personnel records and recovery of training costs.
Training
Our training department is second to none, it has BTEC college status and successfully trains an average of 50 new entrants every month, and that number’s growing.
Its not just basic training that keeps the 60 driving instructors busy, there’s all the classroom based training too. With courses such as ticket training, radio training and customer care training, the life of a driving instructor is never dull.
Our instructors also carry out covert driving observations on our staff ensuring that the high standards taught are continued throughout a driver’s career.
